Reports of the 2002 Subaru Primal Quest Expedition Adventure Race in Telluride, Colorado

[back to CSR Home page]

Barb Dutrow is a CSR member who is also a member of Team Santa Fe, and is currently participating in a 250 mile adventure race in Colorado. This is the richest adventure race to date, with prize money of $250,0000. The race has a great website at www.ecoprimalquest.com . This race began with 62 teams on Sunday July 7, 2002 and will continue for 10 days. The winning team, Team Sobe/SmartWool from New Zealand, won in 75 hours, a time much faster than anticipated. Team Santa Fe finished at 1:45 am on July 14 in 28th place after racing for 6 days and 9.5 hours.

I have been sending regular e-mail updates to folks that are interested, but I have had a number of CSR members request that these reports be put on the CSR website. So, here they are. I will try to post these as soon as I send out the e-mail updates.
